hey hi ho im home still. christmas with the fam was nice. i ate alot of awesome things and made some ok vegan deserts. Some of us decided to get together post dinner because alot of us are taking off in the next few days. so the night started off with sleepy after dinner drinks at Mimi's dads house. It was just me, Mimi, Jamie, and Ariel.

Mimi showed us a DVD of her band. They did not suck.

We finished our wine and Pierre came and offered us a bottle of champagne. He very pointedly noted that the occasion for boozing it up was my being there ("How can we not? Caroline is here!)

Everyone laughed

Jan and Ari and a whole posse rolled up with special brownies and James Brown mixes (R.I.P) and then it was like, yknow, "on"....


Ariel mixed it up, dipping her brownies in her champagne.


Amy and Annie and Anna came!

Anna's scar. Some girl burned her the night before and Jan and Ari's epic dance night. The girl apparently kept telling anna how she wasnt sorry for burning her because scars are so cool.


Anna thought that I was being obnoxious with my camera and took a series of pictures of me that look pretty much like this. Thanks Anna!


Annie was pretty messed up and so I told her some B.S. story about how my drug of choice in NYC is heroin. She was eating every word of it up, but his poor kid Ethan who I had just met a few nights before was listening and was totally mortified. Here he is looking relieved that I don't actually live in a crack den or something.


There was alot chitchattin, Pierre came by and said we could drink all his beer, the music got louder... Everyone was cute.


There was high fiving.

People sat down.


Yeah.


Then we were really trashed so we started doing all sorts of crazy nonsense and what not.

ok so now time for the fabled misshapes post or whatever.

so we decided that we had to go to misshapes because it was beth's final real 100% weekend in NYC, and yknow misshapes is like the thing to do. and ryan and andrew and noah really didnt care, which was funny because the entire time leading up to it beth and i were like "oh god this is going to suck so bad" and they kept being like "so then why are we going?" and we were all like "because we HAVE TO!" anyways, we started things on the DL @ Ryans place drinking some bizneersss.



Andrew even tried to *hip* it up a bit and tried on one of Beth's scarves. That was pretty funny.



So then we decided to be on our merry drunken way and headed out for the subway. But the subway was not trying to help us out and took forever to come, so Beth busted out a book and read aloud to the boys to keep them in line until the train came.



Once we got on the train this crazy guy came up and was freaking out that we had a digital camera and then insisted that we take his picture, because he wants everyone on myspace to have a picture of him, its like his plan to get famous. Too bad Ryan doesnt have a myspace.



So anyways then we go to misshapes....



Oh wait.... no thats just a picture of the janitor's closetthat Andrew took because he's actually insane and takes pictures of the stranges stuff when he gets the camera. actually some of it is cool. but whatever he's nuts.

Even nuttier is David Broad who rolled up, because he makes the same crazy face in every picture.

Anyways he showed up and it was ON. Slash it wasnt really because it was a struggle to get everyone in the club and once we sized up the situation we decided that we just needed to all get tanked to make the night tolerable. So we did.
